Everything was working fine, with no problems or issues with the app. But after its recent update, movies and shows are still loading and playing, however its only the audio itself. Whatever is playing will show up blank. I tried logging out and logging back in, but that didn't work. So I uninstalled the app went and logged back in, hoping it would work, and that didn't work either. Would have given it 5 stars, but due to this inconvenience, I'm considering unsubscribing to Amazon Prime Video.

I find it somewhat challenging to find good movies/shows that are ad free or show minimal ads. There are some, you just have to look. A lot of the international movies are not dubbed. Freeves has TOO many ads. I rarely watch programs/ movies listed on that streaming channel. In addition, many of Prime movies or shows listed on Google offered by Prime, you have to either subscribe or rent. I find it somewhat tedious to find something I really want to watch. When I do, I'm very pleased.

It usually works fine but the past few weeks the app is showing a black screen with audio instead of video and audio. It's happening again right now which is why I'm here. All of the "fixes " I read about and have helped in the past aren't anymore. Even if I just wanted to just listen to the movie and minimize the window while playing an app, it eventually will stop playing. Last night, it game me a video unavailable msg when it stopped playing in full mode.
