Blink Outdoor: weathers the storm so you don’t have to. Outdoor runs for up to two years* on a single set of AA batteries to help you protect your home inside and out — rain or shine — with features like two-way audio, motion detection, and more. Outdoor works with Alexa.

Blink Indoor: is a wireless, battery-powered security camera that you can place anywhere inside your home. Features like two-way audio and night vision help you stay connected to what’s happening no matter where you are — day or night. Indoor works with Alexa.

This is my third edit. First of all, there has been such a lag in response time from control inputs to reactions from the cameras. No, it's not my phone. I'm using a Galaxy S22 Ultra w/ 1TB of storage. I also have the app on two other phones with similar response. By the time an incident occurs, to camera activation, you're lucky if you actually catch the action. I've changed settings every possible way in hopes of rectifying the problem but it's hopeless. Cameras have potential but app sucks.

Authentication failed. I've called customer service so many times that I'm sick of it. They keep trying to blame operator error or wifi but it's neither, it's their dang system that I stupidly keep because of paying so much for. It used to work but the last year has been a nightmare. Every time I turn around its authentication failed. Now I'm having problems with a camera not recording for 60 seconds like it's supposed to.

(04/30/24) Updated review: The notification times has been resolved. Seems like they also fixed the issue with the app indicating xxx amount of clips even after deleting them all. UI runs smoothly now. (03/07/24)This was one of the best diy security systems. The last few updates has slowed the notifications. If you get them at all. A 3-4 minute delay could be tragic in some situations. The devs should spend less time tweaking the cosmetics of the app and more time on functionality.
