I don't know what you started doing differently with the emails from the editor, but links in the emails never open directly to a recipe anymore. They just open the app to the home page, for at least a week now. I'm guessing it was the update on the 9th that created the issue. Please correct the emails or the app, whichever is making this not work.

To assist with this issue, it would be helpful to have a little bit more information. Can you send any screenshots related to the issue along with your device details at nytgames@nytimes.com? Thanks.

Great recipes, but it's super easy to accidentally delete a list in this app. Just trying to open a list of recipes I intended to make led to me permanently deleting the list because my finger slipped less an 1/4" on the screen. That's a real problem because there's no "trash" you can go to to restore the accidentally deleted list. Real bummer. I'm not sure an app that costs $54 a year should be that accident prone.

Useful app but lacks user customization function. For example there's no vegetarian-only filter option, so the abundance and variety of featured recipes is essentially clutter for some users. Between vegetarians, vegans, people with restricted diets or allergies, etc, it is a large enough collection of users I'd like to see NYT make this update.
