Live Channels

Can't skip forward in recordings. You can only fast forward. It took me 30 seconds to successfully skip 10 minutes of commercials. The interface is worse than Amazon Home Video which everyone knows is worse than Netflix. So ya, bad. This makes the DVR functionality slightly better than worthless. It provides a decent interface to live TV on your network. Setup is easy. You don't need to subscribe to a TV listings service. I just updated my year-old review, and most of the biggest problems still exist. Too bad this app can't get any love, because the positive aspects, like TV listings, are really nice.

Has become more stable over the years but there's still one thing egregiously wrong with it. When you use up and down to flip thru the channels, the channels ascend (in number) when you press up and descend when you press down. Great, this is how it should be. But for some odd reason when you bring up the channel guide and start flipping thru the channels, the numbers DESCEND when you press up and ASCEND when you press down. This is just lazy coding, I'm on 1.18 the newest vers too.

Great app but the “weak signal” error needs to get fixed. This has been reported by many over a long period of time. Not a isolated incident. That issue has been fixed and the app was working great! Would have changed my review but after a couple recent updates, the guide does not save my PlutoTV channels. Must re-scan this source daily to have the guide show info.
