-- I've never used the app before. How do I start?
Tap the 'Install' button on the screen to download the app. Once downloaded, simply follow the instructions on screen. From there, all you'll need are your Nationwide account details or debit card and card reader and the app will help you finish setting up.

My app isn’t downloading
If your app isn’t downloading or seems to be stuck, to fix it:

1. Go to your phone’s settings and choose Apps > Google Play Store > Force stop
2. Then choose Storage > Clear cache
3. Try the update again.

• Freeze/unfreeze your debit card
• Report lost or stolen cards
• Set up selfie authentication to pay without a card reader

• Setup new bill payments and check existing payments (you may need your card reader for some transactions)

• Personalise your settings to update your personal details, get text alerts and go paperless

The new interface is terrible. Less information shown when looking at accounts. It downright ugly, more clicks to get information. Still can't pay in cheques via app. Poor option to not use card reader - I don't use photo ID for anything. I don't trust your backend to keep my photo ID safe. Please go back to old interface. I've complained about app and your security in general, but I never thought the update would be so horrendous.

Terrible redesign, the new interface seems to put excessive emphasis on huge notification blocks and buttons at the expense of conveying information clearly. 2 examples: * On the home screen, I used to be able to see a quick summary of all my accounts at a glance. Now I have to scroll, and there's random notifications mixed in. * On the account transactions summary, there used to be a very helpful set of quick date filters, and a small bar graph of income vs outgoings over that period. Now gone.

A lot of the most helpful features were removed with recent update. For instance, the money in and out bars, which were such a handy little graphic, i can think of no reason to get rid of them. also, your balance now appears in giant bold font taking up a third of screen, as so as you open the app. I personally can't see anyway to change the font to make it smaller, which makes me feel very uncomfortable about using it in public.
